She combines her experience in project management, marketing and creative design to spear-head a cohesive and well-managed strategic process. She has worked with many international brands as well a range of companies in the corporate sector.
Susan launched Shift Strategy + Design in 2008 after many years in corporate sales and marketing on the 'other side of the fence.' Susan's role as Strategist and Project Manager involves being aware of how tactics will affect client operations as well as the customer experience. She has a proven ability to transition goals and objectives into tangible results.

Susie DoreCopywriting + Communications
With a rare combination of marketing and copywriting expertise, Susie brings a strategic writing spin and distinctive style to every project. From hotels and resorts to real estate developments, Susie has helped shape stories for many Shift clients since 2008.
Susie approaches each writing project from a 'customer experience' perspective, understanding who your ideal customers are and what makes them tick. From there, she crafts engaging conversations through copy that speaks to them, telling your brand story.
A content strategist and storyteller with over 20 years of business and non-profit experience. Louise’s strength is helping companies and organizations find ways to inspire, connect and build relationships with their audiences.
Louise gives strategic advice on messaging, content strategy and creative marketing communication plans that take advantage of a new communications landscape. She has been one of the senior writers and video content producers for companies such as Hootsuite, Vision Critical and multiple tech start-ups in Canada and the US.
As a member of the extended Shift team Louise has been instrumental in developing key messages and foundation language for the West Coast N.E.S.T. education tourism website and Tourism Tofino among other clients.

Samantha manages media and public relations, communication strategy, special events digital marketing and social media. Her career has spanned PR activities for launches and ground breaking events across Canada and internationally. Samantha’s powerful media relationships ensure impressive secured media coverage of key launches, products, brands and personalities.
Nancy GrantArt Buyer
As an art buyer, Nancy Grant uses a combination of her interpretive eye and her knowledge of current photography and illustration trends to find imagery for commercial use. In a nutshell, Nancy helps Shift find the right artist for each campaign concept.
On a typical project Nancy will take on two roles; assisting the creative team to establishing imagery requirements for a particular campaign and sourcing the right artwork. She also takes on project management roles while negotiating prices, establishing rights and organizing production logistics.
Susan TurnerSenior Designer
Susan has a wealth of experience from working in small boutique firms to managing studios and implementing new brands for multinational corporations. This experience, along with her creative drive, attention to detail and collaborative nature, ensures work of the highest quality that exceeds client expectations. Her conscientious approach has seen her work tabled at the UN and receive recognition from the Canadian Alcuin book society.
Jane IncePublic Relations / Social Media
Jane began her career at the Delta Hotel in Whistler, and has since worked in various hotels, travel management firms, and franchises in Vancouver and the US. She has developed many media contacts, securing a succession of impressive media hits and an easy rapport with local media and support organizations. Her professional style is described as detailed oriented and approachable, a contributing factor for her success's.
Robert PostmaProgrammer/Digital Media SpecialistRobert's experience includes extensive editing in both HD and SD formats, graphic design, DVD authoring, post- production audio layback. He uses Final Cut Pro X edit system and Adobe After Effects for graphic compositing, tracking as well as colour correcting. He is also proficient with Adobe Suite, Cinema4D, and motion tracking and colour correcting packages.
Robert has collaborated on a wide range of projects with clients such as CTC, DestinationBC, Tourism Vancouver, Globe Foundation, BC Ministry of Health, APEGBC, Orca Creative and the Gibson Group.
